How2 post WH minis on dA - not

1. Post everything you have. That increases the chance of favs and comments wich is the most importand reason to post something on dA. Sorting the best out is only for the professionals who sell prints and can post in #eye-of-terror and #Heretics-Undivided.

2. Sharp pictures are not neccessary. Also blurry pictures can conceal the shitty painting.

3. Background and postprocessing are a waste of time and only for the pros of rule 1. Also some people may wish to see your work area or your giant bitz-box.

4. Use flash. That increases the contrast between the mini and the background. Also you don't have to search for the button to turn the flash of. As that button is so hard to find and thinking or reading the manual is only for the pros of rule 1.

5. Your minis don't have to be painted. Primer is enough for playing as well as for posting.

6. If you have made modifications you must prime the mini black before posting. That prevents negative comments and looks professional i think. Don't know, please tell me.

7. There are poeple who are interested in partially painted models. Post WIPs of the unfinished painting. That gives you 1-3 more faves and maybe two comments.

8. When posting a whole army don't post squads or only chosen minis. That makes people keep you always in mind and maxes out the views and probably the favs. Also see rule 1 and 11.

9. Negative critique is for the pros from rule 1. If you spot somebody posting negative critique get your hero-cape and the lawyer-costume ready and troll that guy back to where he comes from. Especially at other peoples comment sections to make a productive discussion impossible. Remember: discussing the discussion is always better than discussing the deviation. Like on youtube. As talking about youtube, insulting people ist totaly suitable for a proper discussion on every platform, be it dA, youtube, 4chan or whatever, and also enlarges your penis if you have one (haha, i've said penis). And don't forget to block people who give negative critique and to hide their posts (ludicrous but really happened to me).

10. Proppah english iz only fo da pros from rule 1. Use da zhit-english that da kewl guyz use who post da kawaii meme stuff. Zuckz to be one of dose people whoz muthastunge izn't english and can't read yoa zhit-english. Uze az much japaneze wortz az poziple. But not zo much dat yo kan't read yo own ztarf animor.
(Luckily i can't speak shit-english so i just guessed)

11. Post your stuff in every group that accepts it. There are some groups that accept everything automatically. Thats pretty cool as some other groups accept only stuff that conforms their quality requirements. But those are only for the pros from rule 1. Always Remember: Quantity before quality. Thats the essence of dA and the only reason to post stuff here and not on flickr or 4chan: Gaining as much favs, comments and llamas as possible.

12. Not to forget, screenshots from DoW are cool stuff to post too. It features the work of other people only but as you have made it it is totaly your work and when posted on deviantart it magically becomes art and of course is worth to show it to everybody.

13. People who don't want to see your stuff shouldn't look at it. That's so easy as you cannot see what you have posted before following the link because the thumbs are most often to small to gues wether you have posted exquisite art or total shit. Thats as easy as not hearing a baby cry in a restaurant or not smelling that fat guys fart in an elevator.
